Synopsis:
In the midst of Italy's Great War, Geppetto, a grieving carpenter, mourns the loss of his son, Carlo, taken by an inadvertent aerial bomb. Planting a pine cone near his grave, Geppetto seeks solace, unknowingly inviting a new presence into his life - an anthropomorphic cricket named Sebastian.
