Synopsis:
Five millennia in the past, the illustrious city of Kahndaq languished under the oppressive rule of the tyrant King Anh-Kot. His insatiable thirst for power drove him to seek the legendary artifact known as the Crown of Sabbac, rumored to bestow unrivaled might upon its wearer. Enslaving his people and exploiting them to unearth the mystical Eternium crystals necessary for the crown's creation, Anh-Kot's reign of terror seemed unyielding. However, a flicker of hope emerged when a courageous young boy rallied the enslaved masses to defy their oppressor. Upon receiving the divine gift of Shazam, the boy transformed into Teth-Adam, the valiant champion of Kahndaq, and vanquished Anh-Kot, liberating his people from tyranny.
Fast forward to the present day, Kahndaq finds itself ensnared in the clutches of the nefarious Intergang. Enterprising archaeologist Adrianna Tomaz embarks on a perilous quest to locate the fabled Crown of Sabbac, aided by her intrepid brother Karim and esteemed colleagues Samir and Ishmael. Amidst a harrowing ambush by Intergang operatives, Adrianna inadvertently triggers the resurrection of Adam, who swiftly dispatches the assailants, only to be incapacitated by a treacherous Eternium assault.
News of the disturbance reaches the ears of government operative Amanda Waller, prompting her to enlist the aid of the legendary hero Hawkman and his stalwart comrades from the Justice Society of America. As tensions escalate, secrets buried beneath centuries of sand and strife begin to surface, unraveling a web of deception and betrayal.
